ABOUT THE ROLE
The candidate will possess a genuine passion for online/digital marketing and an interest in affiliate/performance marketing. In addition, the candidate will effectively communicate Webgains capabilities and offerings within the digital marketplace.
The candidate will also build on the training and mentoring provided to develop an increasing level of knowledge on the Webgains platform. The candidate will also attend conferences and industry events, acting as an ambassador for Webgains. This candidate will be able to offer Webgains platform demonstrations to potential clients either digitally or in person. The candidate will also have a understanding of Webgains USPs vs. competitors across the affiliate industry. In addition, the candidate will possess an intricate understanding of the Publisher Landscape, including key affiliate types and top performing partners across the Webgains network.
KEY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Possess a genuine passion for online/digital marketing and an interest in affiliate/performance marketing
- Effectively communicate Webgains’ capabilities and offerings within the digital marketplace
- Build on the training and mentoring provided to develop an increasing level of knowledge on the Webgains’ platform
- Attend conferences and industry events, acting as an ambassador for Webgains
- Complete Webgains Academy
- Able to offer Webgains’ platform demonstrations to potential clients either digitally or in person
- Understanding of Webgains’ USPs vs. competitors across the Affiliate Industry
- Possess an intricate understanding of the Publisher Landscape, including key affiliate types and top performing partners across the Webgains network
- Sell the benefits of Webgains
- Cold contact clients
- Prospect and identify key executives at target companies and lay the foundation for a strong, long-lasting relationship
- Develop proposals, pitches and presentations in line with client’s requirements
- Achieve monthly targets in line with company growth plans
- A drive to succeed in a fast moving, changeable environment
- Participate in internal meetings, advising the wider Webgains’ Team of Sales strategy and objectives
- Develop monthly plans to manage sales quota and provide detailed and accurate forecasting to Senior Management Team
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Ability to coach and mentor more junior colleagues on best practice, assisting in relevant training and development
- Ability to lead Tier 2- 3 RFP Team, including liaising with Webgains stakeholders to create and present content in relation to a pitch.
ESSENTIAL
- Prospective candidates should have minimum three years’ experience working in digital marketing sales, preferably in the affiliate industry but not essential.
- They should also have a successful track record in hitting sales targets
- The right candidate should be able to identify prospective opportunities and capable of initiating contact and conducting their own outreach as well maintaining their own sales pipeline via the Webgains CRM.
- The candidate should be experienced in building presentations and presenting to C-level clients.
- An excellent working knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and Office 365
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly telephone skills.Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Excellent numerical skills with the ability to generate channel forecasts and thoroughly analyse statistical data
DESIRABLE
- Strong knowledge of multiple fields of performance marketing, affiliate marketing/e-commerce and/or online advertising desired
- Existing pipeline of prospective clients.

ROLE LOGISTICS
- Working hours: 40 per week
- Working days: Monday – Friday
- Job location: 3 days London, Manchester or Bristol Office (Mon, Thu, +1 other day), 2 days working from home
