What is affiliate & partner marketing?

Affiliate and partner marketing is a performance-based marketing strategy where a brand partners with a third-party website to promote their brand, generate traffic to the brand’s website and to provide sales for that brand.

In return, the third-party receives commission and payment for their part in the sale. The third-party is known as an affiliate, partner or publisher.

We provide assurance to companies that their budgets are well invested while striving for excellence and formulating best practice.

We exist to elevate the industry and promote ongoing improvement and higher standards while championing success.

Kevin Edwards

Founder & Director

Kevin is a veteran of the channel, he has worked both publisher and network side in his more than 20 years’ industry service. Kevin has a keen interest in self-regulation and promoting the channel having twice served as the Chair of the Affiliate Marketing Council. With a particular interest in data, insights and research Kevin wants to showcase the affiliate and partner marketing industry to audiences everywhere.

Jenna Goodchild-Pain

Head of Memberships

Jenna is a multi-award-winning digital marketeer with over 13 years experience in digital marketing. Jenna started her career at Ogilvy working across large blue chip brands before moving client side to Sky and NOW TV, leading their digital marketing strategy and performance campaigns. She’s passionate about training and development and the progression of women in business.

Advisory Board

Rich Clark, Eitan Jankelewitz, Eleri Jones, Stuart Miles, Claire O’Brien, Julia Stent and Mark Walters collectively bring with them a wealth of experience and a diverse set of skills to guide our trade body and establish it as the de facto voice of the affiliate and partner marketing industry in the UK. Governance Board

Our governance board has 14 representatives drawn from the AMPA membership. The board provides strategic leadership, establishes policies and procedures for the effective management of the association, and approve the annual budgets. All members of the board also advocate for the APMA and the wider industry. The current Chair is Helen Southgate (pictured). More about the Governance Board.
